I'd like to send a great big THANK YOU to a wonderful fellow artist ~ Angie from Under the Island Sunshyne for sending me my very first blog award ~ The Renee Award! I'm flattered, especially since I consider my blog kind of boring compared to everyone else's-ha! I guess it's the creative thought that counts. As soon as I can find someone "web design-smart" to help me I want to give my blog a good facelift with a new header & background & 3-column format. If anyone knows a good "how-to" website on that let me know! I'm getting really tired of the black. Sometimes my eyes hurt when I'm reading my posts! My bright paintings look good on it though. I'm also planning to add music & more pictures down the sides. If only my tech-smart nephew or brother-in-law lived closer.
Anyway, I hope you all keep checking back to see my improvements ~ & more paintings when my weekend traveling lightens up!

I just love seeing posts from you - your work is so beautiful and I think the world deserves to see it!
Please don't ever think your blog is boring; it is beautiful and intriguing in its' own right. I have been following your work since you first started selling on eBay, and I'm thrilled for you that you are starting to put yourself out there. I really enjoy coming to visit you simply because we share a common thread: our cats rule our homes. :) (Mine is sitting on my lap as I type this---nevermind that I am also trying to cook dinner!)
RE: Web-Design, I'm with you on that one! I sm so inspired when I see other blogs/websites, and I have been trying to learn a little HTML on the side. I'm not very computer savvy and oftentimes I find myself totally frustrated, but lo and behold, the research worked! I figured out how to format the HTML to make a 3-column blog. I'll come back and leave you the link if you're interested...hopefully it will help you.
