Meet Georgie & Tia ~ 2 new Art Dolls now in my shop!

I've had the fabric cut out for these dolls since about a year ago & just ran across it over the weekend so thought I might as well finish them up.  I needed some new dolls in the shop anyway.

I've had a request for another Siamese doll so that's my next project after an Easter painting I'm working on.  I LOVE doing spring paintings ~ flowers, birds & all the pretty colors (along with cats of course)!

Frida Art Doll!

I've always wanted to do a FRIDA doll & I'm excited to finally get one done!

I hand painted her face along with her arms & black kitty.  She also has 2 pink buttons sewn on her dress & bright pink crossbones on the back of her head!

I love how she turned out ~ very prim but bright, funky & lots of fun!

She's in my ETSY SHOP now & would love to go home with YOU!

Fall Dolls

FALL IS IN THE AIR!!!

At least I wish it was!  SO tired of this heat!

I thought I'd get an early start on some FALL themed goodies for my shop.  I had some autumn print fabric from last year & sewed up 2 new dolls ~ Leo the Calico & Brianna the Brown Tabby!  I love the gingham check on their faces!

SADIE the SIAMESE is my 2nd art doll I finished last night.

I'm having so much fun mixing & matching all the different fabrics I have laying around! It's nice to finally put them to good use. Both art dolls are available in my Etsy Shop right now!

I think I'll have a whole collection of these kitties in the works before long!

Need to get busy on my next painting first though.  Just wanted to share Sadie with you!

I Made a Doll Today!

I've always wanted to make a cute CAT DOLL & today I finally did! 

I've seen so many cute dolls in other shops & thought it would be fun to come up with my own version.  I just took an outline of one of my cat heads, sketched a simple body, cut out paper patterns & fabric, sewed, painted & VOILA!  I love how she turned out!  I don't think I've ever painted on fabric before but it was SO fun!  I thought about adding arms & legs but decided to do a simple "leggless" version for my first try.  Maybe my next one will have legs & perhaps a TAIL! 

Now I think she needs a name & her own little story.  Hmmmmm...

I have lots of cute fabric I bought a while back so I see lots more kitty dolls in the near future!
